Memories Of Babbacombe & St Marychurch a FREE event for the people of Torbay

THURSDAY 25 NOVEMBER 2pm-4pm (doors open 1.30pm)

What we are trying to do:

Bring people into Babbacombe Theatre to share their stories

Share what can we learn from our history that will help us overcome our challenges

Let residents know that as well as serving the area as an attraction, we provide a meeting place where people can feel safe, meet others, and rebuild their confidence as we begin to go about business as usual

Enjoy presentations from our local community builders from the Torbay Development Trust, Kevin Dixon & David Ward

There will also be a display set up by Terry Leaman, however it is YOU our neighbours that we want to hear from.

We hope that from this event people will come forward with ideas about other free community events we can arrange alongside our local community builders.

These events will work towards building the health and wellbeing of residents who may feel isolated and who would not usually go to the Theatre either because they live alone, cannot afford to, or prefer not to venture out after dark.

You do not need to pre book, you can just join us on the day.
