MALE VOCALIST AUDITIONS

Summer is almost upon us and everyone anticipates the heatwave that is promised. But whilst people are planning their last-minute getaways to capture the rays, the production team here at the Babbacombe Theatre in Torquay are already working on the 2019/20 Christmas Show, which will run for 10 weeks during the festive period, opening on Wednesday 30^th October.

To be able to complete the full cast line-up, the producer, director, Colin Matthews, is looking for a young male vocalist aged 16+, with not only a strong vocal ability, but a personable stage presence. Whilst some previous stage experience, is preferred, it is not essential.

Auditions will be held for this role, at the venue, on Thursday 6^th June at 6pm.

Those who would like to audition, would need to be available for not only the full rehearsal period from Thursday 24^th October until Wednesday 30^th October but for all the performances, which are weekly, and include matinee and evening shows, every Wednesday from 30^th October until 11^th December. Thereafter there is a matinee on Wednesday 18^th December, two performances on Boxing Day & New Years day, with a matinee on Saturday 28^th December. This is a paid position.

Those wishing to attend the audition, will be required to bring two backing tracks, one up tempo number and a ballad.
