Cast members are jetting off to represent England!

Forty-one pupils from Totnes School of Dance will be jetting off to Stige in Barcelona next week to represent England in, the Dance World Cup.

Once they were invited to participate after auditioning with schools from across the country, the pupils, parents, and faculty, set about raising the funds to not only ensure all the dancers could travel and stay, but look beautifully turned out. Within just 4-months they have raised an amazing £10.000.

Seven of the pupils participating in the World Cup also appear in our shows, 6 as part of Starshine’s Shiny Starz, Lola Mason, Paris Kingdom, Emma Hutchins, Annie Robens, Katie Pugh and Aimiee Bowman and one team member who is cast in West End at the Movies, Lily Laight.

On behalf of us all at the Babbacombe Theatre, we want to not only wish them lots of luck, (break a leg), but want to say, have the best time. We look forward to seeing all your photographs and to hearing about your successes, which inevitable there will be plenty of!
